Our Vision

During my initial visit to Papua New Guinea in April 2003, after we had achieved so much in such a short time, I had a vision given to me in a dream. In the dream I saw the organisation Courage and what it looked like, in another I saw the face of a man who would help, in another I was told that others would come to help and in another I saw our model for economic development multiplied 30, 40 and 100 x (times).

This has become the vision of Courage International, to partner with 100 impoverished communities and to make a difference in the lives of many thousands of others.

Next Steps

To achieve our vision, Courage International must first of all prove that its model for economic development at a community level works. We have now done this with the Afore district.

Now it is time to multiply the work we have done with other communities. We have allready been approached by communities in other districts of PNG and a community in Fiji. It is our prayer that as we consider these requests, others will come to help us achieve our vision.
